Riga Technical University (Latvia), University of Salerno (Italy) and enterprise “Knauf Latvia” invite you to participate in the Summer School “Sustainable Construction – from Traditions to Innovations” taking place in Riga (Latvia) from 19 – 30 August 2018.
During 12 days of intensive learning and cooperation between various disciplines in international environment you will gain in-depth knowledge in building materials and structures, architecture and physics. As an outcome of implementing that kind of activity, we see significant contribution to the preparation of interdisciplinary experts who will can implement the development of hi-tech production necessary to increase global competitiveness in the field of sustainable construction and its wide implementation into practice.
Within the summer school you will visit several enterprises and construction projects, for example, National Library of Latvia, ongoing projects in Riga Technical University Campus and industrial enterprises like “Knauf” and Latvian Wood Construction Cluster.
The participation fee covering registration, tuition, accommodation in the student hostel of RTU, meals (breakfast and lunch) and the social program is EUR 700. The participants will have to cover their travel expenses and health insurance. Based on the evaluation of the application documents, it is possible to receive a discount for covering participation fee.
The deadline for submitting the application is May 18, 2018 (might be extended).
